I think it is sad how our culture teaches women to fear their bodies and birth. I was afraid when I became pregnant of the birth because I was conditioned to fear it. Using the Hypnobabies home study course helped me look forward to my birthing time with anticipation not fear!

I also used the hypnosis techniques I learned when I had my wisdom teeth taken out a few months ago. It kept me calm and relaxed so I didn’t need anything to “calm me down” although they did numb the area with a needle. I was totally relaxed and the dentist said that he was taught hypnosis in dental school and has been amazed at seeing how it works.
